Call for Demos
The Thirteenth International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems (ISWCS’16) will be held on September 20-23, 2016, in Poznań, Poland. Following a tradition of ISWCS conferences lasting over a decade, this event will bring together experts from various research and industry fields of wireless communications, as well as representatives of standardization and regulatory bodies. ISWCS 2016 will provide a platform for highly innovative and state-of-the-art contributions covering a range of topics in wireless communications technology. Original technical papers, technical posters, demonstrations and prototypes will form the ISWCS 2016 technical program and accompanying exhibition.
We hereby call for demonstration proposals for ISWCS 2016, and invite the presenters of technical demos showing original research in the area of wireless communication systems and networking. Submissions from both industry and academia are strongly encouraged. Our event will also be a platform for the demonstration of current achievements in the ongoing and recently finished research projects, such as those founded within the H2020 European program.
A Best Demo Award will be granted by ISWCS’2016, based on innovation and technical contribution.
At least one author of each accepted demo is required to register and present his/her demo at the symposium.
The submissions should include an extended abstract of up to three pages in accordance with the IEEE Author Guidelines (please see the details on the conference webpage). It should state what will be demonstrated to the conference audience, and how the attendees will be able to interact, enjoy, and experiment. Moreover, a full list of authors with complete affiliations should be provided. All submissions will be reviewed granting the inclusion of accepted abstracts in the conference proceedings. Demo abstracts shall be sent directly to the Demo Chairs, dr Paweł Sroka, PUT, Poznan (pawel.sroka@put.poznan.pl).
As power and wireless Internet connectivity will be provided by the organizers, we hereby ask all authors for explicit statements if any additional resources are needed. These should be delivered to the Demo Chair via e-mail prior to the conference (not in the abstract) – pawel.sroka@put.poznan.pl.
